Trading Starcaps

Starcaps can be traded, but each Starcap copy is its own collectible.

That means trades should show the exact Starcap copy being offered, including serial number and important collector details.

Before trading a Starcap, check:

• Serial number
• Rarity
• Condition
• Grade
• Authenticity
• Effect origin
• Originality or alteration status
• Estimated value
• Times played

Two Starcaps with the same name and image may still be very different.

Locked Starcaps

Some Starcaps cannot be traded.

This includes Starcaps that are:

• Listed on Starswap
• Market locked
• Permanently donated to the Observatory Archive
• Otherwise locked by site rules

Trading Tip

A verified, naturally-effected, high-grade Starcap may be worth much more than a similar-looking altered or fake one.

Always inspect the details before confirming a trade.
