How to Get Rift Sparks

Rift Sparks can be earned from Riftborn/Aetherial donation rewards and related Observatory systems.

Regular pet donations may give different rewards, while Riftborn/Aetherial donations should give Riftborn-themed rewards.

Reward Exchange

The Reward Exchange lets you spend Rift Sparks on Observatory rewards.

Current reward items may include:

• Rift Survey Snack Pack - opens for stardust and may give a bonus Rift Spark.
• Aetherial Field Lure - activates a temporary Observatory/Riftborn boost hook.
• Deep Rift Scan Voucher - banks a Deep Rift Scan credit for future Rift systems.
• Void-Touched Specimen Case - banks a Specimen Case credit for future Rift systems.

Current Note

Some Riftborn reward items already do simple things when used, while others are setup hooks for future Riftborn/Aetherial systems.

So if something feels like a mysterious space coupon right now, it probably is. It will matter more when more Riftborn systems are connected.
