The Observatory Archive is the public permanent archive for donated Starcaps.

It is not private storage. It is not a safe deposit box. It is forever preservation.

How Donations Work

When you donate a Starcap:

• It leaves your normal binder.
• It becomes public in the Observatory Archive.
• Your donor name stays on the archive plaque.
• The cap cannot be removed later.
• The cap cannot be sold, traded, played, modified, graded, listed, or used.
• A value snapshot is saved at the time of donation.

Archive Slots

The Archive does not need one of every serial number. That would be too many tiny space coins to display forever.

Instead, it accepts one donated example of each meaningful Starcap type or variant combo.

Examples of separate slots:

• Base original version
• Natural effect version
• Factory error version
• Altered version
• Replica or fake version
• Counterfeit or forged oddity

Archive Wings

The Archive is divided into sections:

• Originals - normal verified/original Starcaps.
• Effects - natural or special effect versions.
• Errors - off-center prints, misprints, double stamps, and other factory weirdness.
• Altered - modified, restored, or customized Starcaps.
• Counterfeits - fake, replica, forged, or suspicious caps.

Archive Index

The Archive Index shows progress, missing slots, recent donations, donor hall, and possible donation leads from your binder.

It is split into tabs so the page does not try to load every little cap-goblin at once.
