The Animal Archive is part of The Observatory. It preserves donated pets and Riftborn/Aetherials as public permanent records.

What Can Be Donated?

• Regular pets
• Riftborn/Aetherials

Donation Is Permanent

Once an animal is donated to the Observatory Archive, it leaves normal play forever.

That means it cannot be removed, sold, traded, battled, used, modified, listed, or returned later.

The public archive keeps the donor name and the animal record.

Pet Serials

Pets and Riftborn/Aetherials can have serial numbers too.

Older animals receive earlier serial numbers when serials are backfilled, so the oldest existing pets get the earliest numbers.

Examples:

• Regular pets may use serials like PET-000001.
• Riftborn/Aetherials may use serials like RIFT-000001.

Rewards

Regular pet donations and Riftborn/Aetherial donations can give different rewards.

Riftborn/Aetherial donations give Riftborn-themed rewards, such as Rift Sparks, instead of only normal rewards.
