Lumi grew up on Verdant Halo, a lush ringed planet known for floating gardens, mossy observatories, cloud orchards, and old libraries built into enormous trees. As a child, Lumi collected fallen petals, pressed leaves, shed feathers, festival tickets, and bits of old wrapping paper, saving each one like it held a secret. Over time, that habit became a calling.

His talent is finding paper with personality. Some sheets shimmer like morning dew. Some smell faintly of rain. Some look plain until moonlight touches them, revealing hidden stars, flower patterns, or tiny drifting clouds. Lumi believes every letter deserves the right paper, because a message should feel as special as the words written on it.

Lumi met Capricorn during a delivery mix-up between Verdant Halo’s garden archives and a traveling vendor caravan. Capricorn had somehow nested inside a box of rare folded papers and refused to leave until someone appreciated the “excellent softness.” Lumi, amused rather than annoyed, offered him a corner of the shop counter and a job as his traveling stock scout.

Since then, Capricorn has helped Lumi track down rare paper bundles, seasonal sheets, and odd little stationery treasures from every corner of the galaxy. Lumi handles the careful folding, sorting, and storytelling. Capricorn handles dramatic entrances, customer charm, and occasionally sitting on the most expensive paper in the shop.
