Achievements

Achievements are special goals you can complete while playing Stardust Trails. They track different things you do around the site, such as adopting pets, playing games, trading, posting in the forums, sending messages, using stickers, and more.

As you make progress, achievements can level up into higher tiers. Higher tiers take more work to reach, but they also show off how much time and love you have put into the site.

Achievement Tiers

Most achievements have multiple tiers.

For example:

Tier I
Tier II
Tier III
Tier IV
Tier V and beyond

The higher the tier, the more progress is needed before the next one unlocks.

Some special achievements only have one tier. These are usually given by staff for special reasons, such as being a beta tester or helping during early site testing.

Rewards

Many achievements can reward Stardust.

Higher achievement tiers may also reward Comets. Comets are more special, so they usually begin appearing at higher tiers.

Rewards may vary depending on the achievement.

Daily Caps

Some achievements have daily progress limits.

This means the action can still be done normally, but only a certain number of those actions will count toward achievement progress each day.

This helps keep achievements fair and prevents spammy actions from becoming too easy.

Examples of actions that may have daily caps:

- Playing games
- Sending messages
- Giving shine
- Using stickers, pens, or backgrounds
- Adopting from or releasing pets to the Pound

Hidden and Special Achievements

Some achievements may be hidden or special.

Special achievements may be given by staff only. These can include things like:

- Beta Tester
- Pre-Beta Tester
- Event helper
- Contest winner
- Community contributor

These achievements are usually not earned through normal site actions.

Where to See Your Achievements

You can view your achievements from your profile or the Achievements page.

Your profile may show:

- Your total achievement count
- Your favorite achievements
- Small achievement badges
- Your current tier on selected achievements

The full Achievements page shows more details, including your progress toward future tiers.

Favorite Achievements

You can choose favorite achievements to show off on your public profile.

Favorite achievements are a way to display the goals you are proudest of, similar to spotlighting pets.

Your favorite achievements may show:

- The achievement icon
- The achievement name
- Your current tier
- Your progress

You can change your favorites later if you want to show different achievements.
